On the path...
But do some things seem to take longer than others ?
Some take 3 minutes
Some 30 minutes ,
Some 3 days &
Some 30 days ??
The underlying principle is that it does not take Hashem long to do anything !
There is a well known story of a great sage who was learning the detailed Halacha of a certain type of grasshopper. A question came and he realized that it would be helpful to see a live specimen in order to determine the metzius. Just then that creature flew onto the window & waited for the sage to examine it carefully.

One catch is that it sometimes takes us a long time to decide on what we want. If we can't make up our mind , how can we complain to Hashem for not following through ? He may be waiting for us to ask Him for help on the path that we are eager to go on.
If we make a mistake & think , this is difficult it will take at least 3 months , Hashem may say - if you don't have more faith & trust in Me you may not deserve it yet.

Have you ever thought I need to speak to so & so about ... & then the person suddenly calls you ?

You may have activated this principle - on the path one is determined to go Hashem will lead him.
Now may be a good time for a gem of Torah study.
