One of the lessons is that if you truly understood how much Hashem has available for you & how eager He is to provide you with all of your needs- you would surely knock on his door more often & ask for more.

Another point in open wide - is make room for the bounty you are asking Hashem for & expecting Him to provide.
Act as if you have it already. Hashem is saying to us ask Me for help & I will provide it !
On the path ... Hashem will make it happen.
