A. It is a very serious sin because it encourages stealing & it will cause him to steal more.

A. The Sages made a rule to have an owner reimburse an innocent buyer who bought some stolen item in an open marketplace.

Q. If he & his friend lost things & he finds both items what should he do ?
A. If possible he is obligated to save & return both.

Q. What if he can only go after one of them ?
A. His own comes first.

Q. Water that may have poison in it , may one use it to wash the floor ?
A. No.
