The solution

The solution is in the problem. We learn how looking up at a copper replica of a deadly snake served as the cure , 21:8.
A snake is a messenger of Hashem , as all else , thus when we register the alert & turn to Hashem to improve , He cures us.

Saved by Repentance

The sons of Korach did not die (26:11).
In the nick of time the 3 sons of Korach turned away from their fathers ways & they were saved.
They subsequently merited to have descendants who wrote 7 chapters of Tehilim.
# 47 is the chapter many people say 7 times on Rosh Hashana before we blow Shofar.
Why were they zocheh that we use their chapter ?
They serve as a model - we should learn to repent , even at the last few moments !

Why does Hashem at times send people to exile ?
To teach them awareness of Hashem. Sanhedrin 92a.
If a person ignores all the good fortune Hashem keeps on sending him , sometimes Hashem takes some of it away to alert them to learn to appreciate.

Why ?
In Pirkei Avos we learn say less & do more.
