Why are there special laws regarding a plague of leprosy on someone's head or beard , 13 :29 ?

This is explained to serve as reminders to the special laws we have for a man & woman to cover their hair & for a man not to shave with a razor.

Secret of Life

Four are considered as non-live :
A poor person ,
A Leper ,
A blind person &
One who is childless.
What do these 4 have in common ?
Tosfos says we should pray for mercy to be spared.
These 4 are limited in their ability to give to others.
Living is Giving.
That is why the Parsha begins with childbirth & continues with laws of leprosy. May Hashem help us in all ways.

The Salt Message

Why does every offering require salt ?
Why should we have salt on the table by our meals ?

Tosfos , Brochos 40a , cites a Medrash that the Satan may criticize Jews waiting for each other to wash without doing Mitzvos.
Thus Salt will protect us.
How do we understand this ?

Salt consists of 2 ingredients that are poison when separate , but together they are beneficial. That is the message of salt. Work together & do good deeds.
