The weak / strong

Why do we call the Righteous Jews weak in Al Hanisim if they were actually strong ?

The Sidur HaGra explains that in their minds they realized that without Hashems help we are always weak !
As when Yosef Hatzadik said - Bilodoi ! Its not my power.
Now may be a good time for a gem of Torah study.
