First of your crops. Mitzva 606 of the Torah is to bring from the first of our crops , every year to the Beis Hamigdosh.
We thank Hashem for it & remind ourselves who is the Owner !
We say every morning that this Mitzva has no specific measure.
This is the first Mitzva of the 6 in the Parsha this week.
This also reminds us of Rosh Hashana the beginning of a new year to thank Hashem for it.
Now may be a good time for a gem of Torah study.
