Grass Lessons - W 20

Why are the wicked compared to grass , whereas the righteous are like trees (Tehillim 92 ) ?
Blades of grass & huge trees have the capacity to convert sunlight into fuel which produces food ,growth & life. The difference is that grass grows quickly & spreads all over. It is flimsy & can easily be destroyed.
Trees however need more care , the right environment & they develop into solid , long lasting majestic stuctures.
We can step on grass , but not on trees. This serves to remind us to build for long term , righteous growth , planted in the house of Hashem to truly enjoy our stay in this world as we prepare for eternity.
Now may be a good time for a gem of Torah study.
