The masked Teacher

Why does Moshe Rabeinu wear a mask ?
We would think of a bandit robbing a bank using a mask to conceal himself.
Moshe was the greatest & the most humble. Thus perhaps he was trying to hide.
Now may be a good time for a gem of Torah study.
